Bristol is the largest city in the south west of England and is known for its historic background and young dynamic student population.

The city contacted us wanting something different for the main entrance road, which reflected the cities Maritime history. The objective was to create a scheme which represented the past but in keeping with the modern feel of the city.

In working with the team the chosen concept was something quite unique, which represented a ships mast using a banner system to represent the ships sail. Each triangular tapering structure was made of stainless steel, resulting in a slick finish complimenting Bristol rich heritage.
