SOLID WOOD
collection

Solid wood poles are named after Finland's lake areas: Vuoksi, Kuolimo, Luonteri and Sumpsa. The lake regions have around 179,000 islands and Finnish pine grows slowly into a close-grained and durable material. The beautiful lakes and islands have been formed over thousands of years as the Ice Age shaped the land. Individual lakes of the waterway regions are connected by short river sections, channels or man-made canals into a complex labyrinth. Finland has around 188,000 lakes and has a worthy title The Land of Thousands of Lakes.

An advantage of solid wood poles is low energy consumption in manufacture. Small cracks in the wood surface give sold wood a vibrant appearance and reflect its character as an environmentally friendly, natural material. Due to its appearance and character, solid wood is highly suitable e.g. for sports centres, holiday cabin villages and other close-to-nature settings.
