The call for projects was ambitious: to redesign a modern and efficient wall bracket  that is not without relation to those that illuminate the peninsula of Lyon for nearly half a century.
Appointed to our Design & R & D team, the challenge has been met and Valmont got the privilege to remodel a classic landscape of Lyon.

As a result of close collaboration between the City of Lyon and Valmont, born NEO'GRAB: a wall bracket, with functional aesthetic sleek and minimal environmental impact (Cast Alu 100% recyclable).

Winning bet, today the facades of neighborhoods of the peninsula show proudly Neo'Grab preserved identity ...

High energy absorbing poles have already been used for years in Scandinavia in the roads, where the risk of a collision to a lighting pole would have possibly fatal consequences: the highway exits or junctions, motorways without guard rails and also roundabouts, where utilizing “see through” feature of lattice structure of RELE pole will become an asset.

RELE Poles are offering the highest safety features and it is classified as 100HE3 according to the EN12767 and EN 40 (100km/h roads – HE = High Energy Absorbing – 3 is the highest safety factor for car passenger).
Its lattice structure is offering also a high loading capacity for standard or decorative brackets up to 2.5m outreach.
The lattice part of the pole can be either illuminated with 2 LED floodlights marking the road line and also raising drivers’ awareness of entering roundabouts etc., or dressed with a thin sheet metal skirt to make it look like a conventional lighting pole.

Our wooden poles are realized in Finland where their raw material is growing slowly, in a forest managed according to PEFC rules.

Like a tree, SILLEM is designed with trunks, knots and branches showing a natural flexibility and offering a large choice of configurations adapted to your urban lighting project. Issued from eco-design, 35% of its material is coming from recycled aluminum when itself is 100% recyclable at the end of its life cycle. Modular and light, the CO² footprint of the associated services to carry and install it, is significantly reduced.

Within the scope of an Environmental and Sustainable Urban program, with the aim to implement of a product with a natural shape, the Customer's choice obviously came to the "Giglio" pole.....

Because each product has a story and each designer a personal background, we wish to highlight the origins and the concepts of the Signature Collection.

This book, deliberately without any technical information, emphasizes creative solutions through the products of the Signature Collection and through some unique projects which arise from an event, a place or a story …
